Don't say I didn't warn you guys on these catch-up blogs!
Today's highlight is of Shelby, this incredibly gorgeous unicorn. To see some of her artwork and other photo sets she's modeled in you can check out her instagram here.
Well, back in December Shelby and I arranged a sunrise shoot complete with insanely wonderful warrior pieces she handmade for various cosplays that I was SO stoked to shoot. We met through a mutual acquaintance and I am so happy when shoots like this work out!
We met at her house in the early hours of the morning on December 20th and picked out the pieces we wanted to shoot. Shelby did her own hair and makeup with minimal ideas from me... she's just born to be awesome like this so I didn't really need to ask for anything she wasn't already going to do. Once she was done with hair and makeup (and I was done inhaling a cup of coffee) we loaded the car up with everything and headed out to Powell Butte.
Powell Butte is an incredibly gorgeous national park and honestly was the perfect setting for our highland-esque shoot. Right as the sun was starting to rise, we unloaded all our gear and started walking up to our hilly summit. I mean, I'm laughably out of shape right now, but the hike with all the camera gear felt amazing and was totally worth it.
Here are a few more of our amazing shoot. If you are looking to book a creative portrait set, head to my FAQ page for general info!
