Months ago I was trolling a local thrift store for tea sets and wardrobe inspiration for photo shoots and absolutely struck gold. I found this 1980's wedding dress and immediately knew what I wanted to do with it. As I mentioned in my last blog post, I want to do a mini series of darker images to get in the mood for fall and Halloween!
This being the first image, it's a little more light hearted to transition into the darker images to come. I felt a little more glam makeup and hair were a good pairing with the cemetery setting, since the next couple shoots will be things like women crawling out of bodies of water or being lit on fire. Ha.
Hillary Mason was my model and she absolutely killed it. She is so gorgeous, and magically the dress fit like a glove. Her facial expressions and overall presence gave off more a longing or mourning bride than a dead bride, and I am absolutely thrilled. It couldn't have worked out better.
