Alrighhhhhty! I wanted to showcase the two self-portrait sets I've shot for my Noir Halloween series. Not that there's a ton of meaning behind them or that they are super unique, but really to get all the images together to give them the attention they deserve.
My first set of photos was my witchy self-portrait set. These ones were my very first "new" images shot for the series and were a fun way of pulling out all my lighting and getting some practice with the studio feel shots. I chose a long black hooded sweater dress because, honestly? It makes me feel pretty witchy in my every day life, so it felt fitting for this shoot.
Next, Skeleton Girl.
No joke, this came as a random moment of inspiration as I was putting on makeup for my actual Halloween Costume dry run. I haven't actually done full face makeup for Halloween in years so I felt like I needed some practice, especially with wanting to do Beetlejuice justice, so it all worked out perfectly. After taking a couple photos as Beetlejuice I popped back into my makeup area and added some details to give me the look I have for Skeleton Girl. I hope you all enjoy her as much as I did creating and shooting her. :)
